Introducing ClimaHQ: Culture Analytics You Can Actually Explain

ClimaHQ Team · March 21, 2026

Why we built ClimaHQ

Every people leader has been in that meeting. The engagement survey results land, the dashboard shows a number dropped, and nobody can explain why. Your board wants answers. Your legal team wants compliance documentation. Your managers want something they can act on. And the best your current tool offers is “the AI detected a shift in sentiment.”

We started ClimaHQ because we believe culture measurement deserves better than that.

The problem with most engagement platforms

The majority of employee engagement tools on the market were designed in Silicon Valley. They treat European regulations as an afterthought. They bolt on AI features that nobody can audit. They store your people data on US servers, leaving your legal team scrambling over privacy requirements.

Then there is the explainability gap. When your platform uses machine learning to generate a risk score or an engagement insight, can anyone trace how that number was calculated? In most cases, the answer is no. The model is a black box, and you are expected to make decisions about real people based on outputs you cannot verify.

That felt wrong to us. So we built something different.

What makes ClimaHQ different

Every number is traceable

ClimaHQ uses deterministic analytics. Same data in, same answer out. Every score, every risk flag, every trend line can be traced back to the exact survey responses and the exact formula that produced it. When your CHRO asks how you calculated a burnout risk score, you can show them the actual inputs, the weights, and the full calculation. Not a summary. Not a confidence interval. The real thing.

This is not just a design choice. Under the EU AI Act, systems that influence employment decisions can be classified as high risk when they use AI. ClimaHQ uses no AI. No large language models. No neural networks. That means no high risk classification for your organization.

Twelve dimensions of culture, not one number

We do not reduce your culture to a single engagement score. ClimaHQ measures twelve distinct dimensions: engagement, satisfaction, wellbeing, belonging, growth, recognition, alignment, communication, leadership, autonomy, workload, and innovation. Each one is grounded in industrial organizational psychology research. You get the full picture, not a vanity metric.

Psychological safety, measured properly

Our psychological safety measurement is built on Amy Edmondson’s four stage framework, the same research behind Google’s Project Aristotle. We measure inclusion safety, learner safety, contributor safety, and challenger safety independently at the team level. This is not one survey question asking “do you feel safe?” It is a structured, validated instrument that shows you where each team stands and what to do next.

Predict attrition before it happens

ClimaHQ combines satisfaction trajectory, growth perception, recognition frequency, and engagement decline patterns to forecast attrition risk three months ahead. Every factor is visible. Every weight is documented. When the system flags a team as at risk, you see exactly why. You can act before you are reading a resignation letter.

Built in the EU, for the EU

Your data stays in the EU. ClimaHQ was designed from the ground up for European regulatory requirements:

EU Pay Transparency Directive (June 2026 deadline): Gender pay gap reporting, salary range transparency, and equity data ready out of the box.

CSRD Workforce Reporting: Diversity indicators, social governance metrics, and workforce analytics for sustainability reporting.

EU AI Act: Because we use no AI, there is no additional compliance burden. No risk assessments. No conformity procedures. No auditing black boxes.

Every compliance report includes a full audit trail. Every metric traces back to source responses.

Manager nudges that drive action

Data without action is just a dashboard nobody opens. ClimaHQ delivers targeted micro interventions to managers: conversation starters, reflection prompts, team exercises. These are not generic suggestions. They are specific, timely, and triggered by the patterns we detect in each team’s data.

Who is ClimaHQ for?

We built ClimaHQ for people leaders and HR teams in organizations with 50 to 5,000 employees, especially those operating in or reporting to the EU. If you are tired of engagement tools that cannot explain their own numbers, or if compliance deadlines are approaching and your current platform was not designed for them, ClimaHQ was built for this.
