Organization Settings

Basic configuration for your ClimaHQ account.

Organization Name

Displayed across dashboards, reports, and email communications.

Industry

Selecting your industry enables benchmarking: compare your culture scores against anonymized industry averages.

Company Size

Used for benchmarking and to determine compliance reporting thresholds.

Language

Sets the default language for the ClimaHQ interface.

Timezone

Controls when recurring surveys are dispatched and when daily nudges are sent.

Settings that protect employee anonymity.

Anonymity Threshold

The minimum number of responses required before results are shown for any group. The default is 5 and cannot be set below 5.

What the anonymity threshold means

If a team has only 3 members who responded to a survey, their scores are hidden from all dashboards and reports, even from organization admins. This prevents managers from inferring individual responses in small teams. The threshold applies to every grouping: teams, departments, demographic segments, and intersectional analyses.

Data Residency

All ClimaHQ data is stored within the European Union. This setting is informational: EU residency is the default and only option.

Members & Roles

Invite people and control what they can see and do.

Managing Members

Add members by email invitation. Each member is assigned a role and optionally a team. Deactivated members lose access immediately but their historical survey data is preserved in aggregate.

The 4 Roles

Employee

Can complete surveys and view personal nudges. Cannot access dashboards, reports, or settings.

Manager

Everything an employee can do, plus view culture scores and predictions for their own team.

HR Admin

Full access to all dashboards, campaigns, nudges, compliance reports, and HRIS settings. Cannot manage billing or organization-level settings.

Org Admin

Full access to everything, including organization settings, member management, and API keys. At least one org admin must exist at all times.

Teams

Organize your workforce into hierarchical teams.

Team Structure

Teams can be nested: a 'Product' team can have 'Frontend' and 'Backend' sub-teams. Each team has an optional manager and department tag. Team structure determines how scores are aggregated and who sees what in the dashboards.

Manager Assignment

Assigning a manager to a team gives them access to that team's culture scores and predictions. Managers see only their own team's data, never other teams' scores.

API Keys

Programmatic access to ClimaHQ data.

Creating a Key

Navigate to API Keys and click 'New API Key'. Give it a descriptive name, select scopes (read-only or read-write), and set an optional expiry date.

Security: shown once, hashed forever

When you create an API key, the full token is shown exactly once. Copy it immediately. ClimaHQ stores only a SHA-256 hash of the token; the raw key cannot be retrieved after creation. If you lose it, revoke the old key and create a new one.

Available Scopes

API keys can be scoped to specific resources: scores, predictions, nudges, campaigns, survey responses, and key management. Use the narrowest scope possible for each integration.
