Short, recurring surveys (5-10 questions) that measure culture dimensions continuously. The most common campaign type, run weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.

Engagement

Comprehensive engagement surveys covering all 12 culture dimensions. Typically run quarterly for a full organizational health check.

Onboarding

Targeted at new hires during their first 30, 60, and 90 days. Measures belonging, growth perception, and early satisfaction signals.

Exit

Sent when an employee departs. Captures honest feedback about culture, leadership, and reasons for leaving.

Safety

Focused specifically on psychological safety using Edmondson-based questions across all four stages.

Custom

Creating a Campaign

Step-by-step walkthrough.

1. Name & type

Give your campaign a descriptive name and select the campaign type. The type determines the default question set.

2. Questions

Review the pre-loaded questions or customize them. Each question is mapped to a culture dimension for scoring.

3. Frequency

Choose how often the survey runs: one-time, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or quarterly. Recurring campaigns dispatch automatically.

4. Delivery channels

Select how employees receive the survey: in-app notification, email, Slack DM, or Microsoft Teams message. Multiple channels can be active simultaneously.

5. Activate

Toggle the campaign to active. You can also dispatch immediately with the 'Dispatch now' button.

Channel Options

In-app: Survey appears in the employee's ClimaHQ dashboard under 'Pending Surveys'.
Email: A branded email with a direct link to the anonymous survey form.
Slack: A direct message via the ClimaHQ Slack bot with a survey link.
Teams: A direct message via the ClimaHQ Teams bot with a survey link.

Scheduling

Recurring campaigns dispatch automatically based on frequency. One-time campaigns can be dispatched manually. All dispatches are queued through Solid Queue for reliable background delivery.

Anonymous Submission

Trust is earned through technical guarantees, not just promises.

Token-Based Forms

Each survey invitation generates a unique, single-use token. The token links to the campaign, not to the employee. Responses are stored without any user identifier. There is no technical path from a response back to a person.

Anonymity thresholds

Even with anonymous responses, small groups risk identification. If only 3 people are on a team and one score is very different, it's easy to guess who said what. ClimaHQ enforces a configurable minimum threshold (default: 5). Groups with fewer responses than the threshold are hidden from all dashboards and reports. This is enforced at the database query level, not just the UI.

What We Guarantee

IP addresses are not stored with responses.
No user ID is attached to any response record.
Response timestamps are not exposed to administrators.
Responses cannot be correlated by submission order.
